What I would like to learn while Clerking at Mdivani:
-
"How to look at facts and come up with a legal solution that resolves a client’s problem. If a stranger came up to me and shared a complex set of circumstances, I want to have the power to help by figuring out what course of legal action to take. How to build strategy behind immigration decisions. How the green card adjustment process works: I would like to learn how we interact with the client during that process and how quickly it moves compared to the PERM process and the I-140. How to analyze unique cases, for example, employers engaging in the employer-driven green card process to obtain employment authorization for workers that currently lack employment authorization. How our pro bono U Visa cases develop."
