USCIS has announced that U.S. Employers may register prospective employees for H-1B cap lottery from noon Eastern on March 7 through noon Eastern on March 24, 2025.
Here is how it will work:
Now-Noon March 24, 2025: Create (or Update) the Company USCIS Account:
You will need to create an organizational account or update it if you already have an account. Questions? See the Organizational Accounts Frequently Asked Questions page. Remember, you are registering the petitioning employer, NOT an individual.
March 7-March 24, 2025: Register Individual Employees for H-1B Cap Lottery
From Noon Eastern on March 7 to Noon Eastern on March 24, using your USCIS organizational account, register your prospective H-1B employees’ information and pay $215 per registration fee.
USCIS Will Announce Cap H-1B Selection by March 31, 2025
By March 31, USCIC will notify employees if they have won H-1B numbers. If they do, employers may proceed with filing H-1B Petitions.
